Sixteen-year-old Indigo Grimm is messily drifting apart from her best friend Jeanette who is pre-occupied with appearing more adult and finding a boyfriend while Indigo would rather fill her sketchbook with fairytale illustrations that can fight her emotional battles for her on the page. An accident puts Jeanette in a coma, but Indigo keeps seeing her signature graffiti tag in new and unexpected places, the paint still wet. Driven by guilt and curiosity, she and a reluctant accomplice named Cody follow the signs to find clues for bringing Jeanette back into conscious and are led into a city full of fairy tales-- the kind they don't read to kids anymore...

Grimm is a coming-of-age story about young woman in an interconnected world, learning to deal with the complications of real friendship and the dangers of believing in stories. We expect the full work to run 120-150 pages in black and white.
